​The first GUOJIE Forum and the second LUOGUOJIE Ethics education Foundation for Award ceremony was held in Beijing

On October 12, the first GUOJIE Forum and the second LUO GUOJIE Ethics Education Fund Award ceremony jointly held by the Research Center of Ethics and Moral Construction and the School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China opened at Renmin University of China. Professor Wu Fulai, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Secretary of Renmin University of China, Professor Wan Junren, President of China Society of Ethics and Professor of Tsinghua University, Professor Hao Lixin, dean of The college of Philosophy of Renmin University of China, Professor Xu Fei, Party Secretary of Renmin University of China, And Professor Song Xiren of Renmin University of China attended the opening ceremony, award ceremony and delivered speeches. Professor Cao Gang, director of the Research Center of Ethics and Moral Construction at Renmin University of China, presided at the opening ceremony. More than 100 university teachers and students from all over the country got together to discuss issues related to meta-ethics, Marxist ethics, normative ethics and applied ethics.

 Luo Guojie is a famous philosopher, ethicist and educator, the founder of ethics in New China, and the pioneer of Marxist ethics in contemporary China. In sixty years academic career, Mr Luo Guojie bends down and read it, and thought, ethics thought of marxism and Chinese traditional ethics, conduct the thorough research to the western ethics, founded the virtue ethics system of marxism with Chinese characteristics, left a rich original scientific research achievements and valuable wealth. Luo Guojie is concerned with the nation and social progress. He closely combines the academic research of ethics with the socialist moral construction in China and puts forward a series of theories on moral construction and governing the country by virtue under socialist conditions. Founded at RUC in the name of the GUOJIE Forum, is to commemorate the Luo Guojie Sir, inherit his extensive and profound ideological system, along the road to he pioneered by academic marxist ethics and moral construction theory to move on, and to gather the national ethics educational world outstanding talents, deepening the research on theory of ethics, promote social morality construction, start a new era of ethics research career.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Professor Wu Fu Lai said that the first GUOJIE  Forum and the second LUO GUOJIE Ethics Education Fund Award meeting were just in time for the 70th birthday of the New China, and all ethicists from all over the country were gathered together to offer their unique blessings to the great motherland with their unique practical wisdom. The development and growth of ethics in New China are closely related to the 70-year struggle of the CPC and the pioneering history of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and complement each other. The ethics of New China, with its abundant practical care, provides a strong support for shaping the Patriotic complex of the Chinese people and enhancing the spiritual integrity of the Chinese nation. Colleagues, hope the broad masses of ethics to the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China as an opportunity to further summed up the new ethics in the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics to explore the important role of the, to the new age to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation to ethics put forward new task and new mission, have more as to ethics in the new era. 

Song Xiren reviewed in his speech, professor with Luo Guojie teacher to study, work experience, and from the perspective of "don't forget the beginner's mind, keep in mind that the mission", the ethics of the new era to study and put forward four Suggestions: one is to study the former Soviet union to Russia, attaches great importance to study the spread of the new liberalism ethic system in the United States; The second is to focus on the study of modern Japanese empiricism ethics; The third is to attach importance to the study of the relationship between Chinese traditional moral etiquette and Marxist ethics; The fourth is to combine the traditional Chinese ethical norm system with the socialist core value norm system. 

Mr. Wan Junren congratulated on the opening of the first GUOJIE Forum. He pointed out that Mr. Luo Guojie and the research Center on Ethics and Moral Construction founded by him have set a banner for Marxist ethics and ethics of new China. Taking the opening of the first GUOJIE Forum as an opportunity, the majority of ethics colleagues should hold this banner well and push Marxist ethics to a new height. 

Dean Hao lixin reviewed the foresight and profound knowledge of the older generation of scholars represented by Luo Guojie to create new Chinese ethics. The ideological system they formed and the academic community they founded are the most valuable resources for the development of ethics in the new era. I hope that the majority of ethical scholars can inherit this wealth and make greater contributions to the prosperity of philosophy and social sciences. 

After the opening ceremony, the second LUO GUOJIE Ethics Education Fund Award conference was held. After extensive application and recommendation by teachers and students of ethics major in colleges and universities all over the country, selection by lUO GUOJIE Ethics Education Fund Evaluation Committee and final publicity, the second LUO GUOJIE Ethics Education Fund has selected a total of 5 outstanding teacher awards, 5 outstanding books awards and 18 outstanding students awards.  tianjin academy of social sciences’ Song Huichang , the CPC Central Committee's party school’s Wen Keqin, sun yat-sen university Zhang HaiShan, Qiu Renzong at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, National school of administration’s wang wei won the award of excellent teachers. Wan Junren’s 《the history of modern western ethics》,He Huaihong`s《the theory of conscience》，Zhao Ting Yang's《theory may be living》, Jiao Guocheng‘s《ancient Chinese I relationship theory》,Yang Guo-rong's 《good progress》 won the prize of excellent works。 renmin university of China Liu Junli， Fudan university Zhu Yi won the award for the best student award.renmin university of China Li Xiaodong, tsinghua universityGuo Yi, the central committee of the communist party of China party schoolYan Ruifeng, Heilongjiang university Xu Xueye, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Hu Nan, Northeast agricultural university Fang Yuqing won the award for the best student of the second prize。Tsinghua universityMo Tiancheng, capital normal university Guo Minke, Central university for nationalities Li Yicong, Southeast University Wang Xiaodi ,  Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Wang Lu ;  Peking University Zhu Xin ,Nanjing University Ren Shiyang , Southwest University Shen Dongxiang， , Hunan Normal University Liu Yaoyang and Southeast university Wu Mi Won the third prize of Excellent Student Award. Members of the Luo Guojie Ethics Education Fund Management Committee present prizes to the winners. The list of the second academic Committee of ethics and Moral Construction Research Center of Renmin University of China was also announced at the forum. 17 professors, including Wan Junren, Wang Ying, Wang Shuqin, Deng Anqing, Jiang Chang, Li Ping, Li Jianhua, Yang Guorong, Wu Qiantao, Xiao Qunzhong, Yu Yong, Zhang Huaicheng, Yao Xinzhong, Cao Gang, Gong Qun, Jiao Guocheng and Fan Heping, served as the members of the second Academic Committee. Professor Jiao Guocheng served as the director, and Associate Professor Wang Fuling served as the secretary. 

At last, Professor Xu Fei, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China, opened China Ethics Online.
